the president retake center stage? >> i hadn't seen the rush limbaugh thing. that is insane. what he's saying is insane. the first thing is it has been conventional wisdom among the smartest people in washington, this is a tough issue that needs to be done on a bipartisan basis. the obama administration decided not to. leaders of both parties could have gone out to the meetings. they didn't do that. they chose more or less a democratic plan a now all hell is breaking loose. it's not just the crazy, among who we just saw some. if you take overall ratings for health care, the american public is as skeical as they were when clinton care collapsed. so, it's not just the crazies. there is a real public concern about real issues. >> when you look at this from the approval rating and the quinnipiac poll, the president's handling of health care. here are the numbers. approvals at 39%, disapprovals at 52%, erin. that's the question. big battle lines about whether this is manufactured grassroots organizing, opposition against health care. the truth is there are people who are angry and there are people
